What a whole house actually changes
Some of it is obvious: space, storage, and somewhere outside that belongs to you. Some of it is less obvious and matters more day to day. Nobody above you. Your own HVAC rather than a shared system. A washer and dryer in your house rather than in a room downstairs. Deliveries that arrive at your door.
The trade is that a house has more of everything to look after. On the homes we manage we handle the structure, systems, gutters and tree work; the lease sets out the yard upkeep expected of you.
The housing stock in Durham
Most of what we manage was built between 1920 and 1970. The older houses have the character — porches, original trim, real proportions — and the newer ones cost less to run. We have both, and we say plainly on each listing which trade you are making.

Are your homes detached houses?
Yes. Every Minmosa home is a detached single-family house with its own yard and its own systems.
Is yard maintenance included?
We handle tree work, gutters and anything structural. Routine lawn upkeep is the tenant’s, and the exact split is written into each lease.
Do your houses have washer and dryer hookups?
All of them do. Some include the appliances and some do not — it is stated on each listing.
